Ponting elects to bat against India

Hyderabad: Australian captain Ricky Ponting won the toss and decided to bat first against India in the third of the seven-match ODI series here today.

India made one change to their side, Rohit Sharma replaces off spinner Ramesh Powar.

Australia also made one change to their side, skipper Ricky Ponting comes in place of Brad Haddin.

Top order batsman Brad Hodge was retained inspite of failing to reach double figures in both previous games.
