India's cricket selectors recalled left-arm spinner Murali Kartik for the fourth and fifth one-day internationals against World Cup winners Australia.
He replaces off-spinner Ramesh Powar, who failed to impress in the first two one-dayers of the ongoing seven-match series before being dropped for the third game here against the tourists.
The 31-year-old Kartik has grabbed 27 wickets in 30 one-day internationals, his last match being in Pakistan in 2006. He played for English county Middlesex this season, taking 51 wickets in 12 matches.
The next two matches against Australia will be played at Chandigarh on Monday and at Vadodara on Thursday.
