Dambulla: Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene elected to bat after winning the toss against England in the third one-day international here.

Both the teams have fielded an unchanged squad after England levelled the series 1-1 on Thursday.

Showers halts proceedings at Rangiri International Stadium after Jayasuriya (3) and Tharanga (11) provided Lanka a steady start. Hosts were 17/0 in 3.3 overs.  

Squads:

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Upul Tharanga, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Chamara Silva, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Jehan Mubarak, Farveez Maharoof, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga and Dilhara Fernando.

England: Paul Collingwood (capt), Alastair Cook, Phil Mustard (wk), Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Ravi Bopara, Owais Shah, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom and James Anderson.

Match Officials: Umpires: Rudi Koertzen (RSA) and Asoka de Silva (SL) and Third umpire: Gamini Silva (SL). Match referee: Javagal Srinath (Ind).
