Sri Lanka elect to bat against England

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene won the toss and elected to bat in the fourth one-day international against England at the Premadasa stadium here.

Sri Lanka, who must win to square the five-match series 2-2, brought in leg-spinner Kaushal Lokuarachchi in place of Farveez Maharoof, who suffered a back spasm during the last match in Dambulla.

England fielded the same team that put them 2-1 ahead last Sunday.

The fifth and final game will be played at the same venue on Saturday.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Upul Tharanga, Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Chamara Silva, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Jehan Mubarak, Kaushal Lokuarachchi, Chaminda Vaas, Lasith Malinga, Dilhara Fernando.

England: Paul Collingwood (capt), Alastair Cook, Phil Mustard, Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Ravi Bopara, Owais Shah, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom, James Anderson.

Umpires: Rudi Koertzen (RSA) and Tyron Wijewardene (SRI)

TV umpire: Asoka de Silva (SRI)

Match referee: Javagal Srinath (IND)
