Bangalore: Australian skipper Ricky Ponting won the toss and elected to bat first in the final match of the seven-match Future Cup series against India at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai today.

As widely speculated, India decided to rest out-of-form batsman and former skipper Rahul Dravid to make way for middle order batsman Dinesh Karthik. India made one more change in the team that played last ODI as RP Singh replaced Sreesanth

With Australia already sealed the series with a 4-1 lead, India will play for pride to prove a point to the Australians and their fans that they are still good enough to challenge Aussies. The first match of the series in Bangalore was abandoned due to rain. Australia retained the same squad that played sixth ODI

Australia: AC Gilchrist (wk), MJ Clarke, RT Ponting (capt), BJ Hodge, A Symonds, BJ Haddin, GB Hogg, JR Hopes, B Lee, NW Bracken, MG Johnson

India: SC Ganguly, SR Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni (wk, capt), KD Karthik, RV Uthappa, IK Pathan, M Kartik, Harbhajan Singh, Z Khan, RP Singh
