Speaking on the sidelines of unveiling Donear's Black and Blues collection here, for which he is the brand ambassador, Yuvraj further said on the aggressiveness on the cricket field ''There was nothing bad in some aggressive intent on the field as long as it stays within 'limits'.'' He, however, refused to elaborate on what limits he was exactly referring to.
Speaking about the upcoming home series against Pakistan, the southpaw felt that they were confident of putting up a good show.
''The series should be interesting and it would be wrong on our part to underestimate the new look Pakistan side. The conditions are basically the same in both countries and the Pakistani players would not find it difficult to adjust to the conditions here,'' he said.
Yuvraj also felt confident that the team will perform well in the big series Down Under, where India will play four Test matches and a triangular one-day series with host Australia and Sri Lanka.
''We are ready for Australia tour and I am sure that the team will put up an excellent performance Down Under,'' he opined.
Commenting on the performance of the team in the one-day series against Australia, he said the team competed well and won two matches and the Twenty20 match.
On the captaincy issue, Yuvraj said ''Dhoni has been doing a great job and though it is up to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to decide who will be the next Test captain, I am confident that Dhoni can do a good job in the Tests also. I have played under three captains and feel that Dhoni is doing a good job.'' On the different formats of the game like Twenty20, Yuvraj said a good player can adjust to all the formats. The need is basically being able to play according to the team's demands in all the formats.
''I basically enjoy all the formats, though Test cricket remains the most prized format and making a name in Test cricket holds the biggest value for me,'' he added.
