India bat against Pakistan in second one-dayer

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat in the second one-day international against Pakistan here.

Both sides made one change each to the squad that played the opener in Guwahati, which India won to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series.

India dropped left-arm spinner Murali Kartik and included batsman Virender Sehwag, who will play his first international match in five months. Sehwag last played in the Afro-Asia Cup in Chennai in June.

The visitors brought in left-arm seamer Sohail Tanvir in place of spinner Abdul Rehman.

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (capt), Younis Khan, Salman Butt, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Umar Gul, Sohail Tanvir, Rao Iftikhar.
