India opt to bat against second one-dayer against Pak

Bangalore: India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat in the second of the five-match ODI series at the PCA Stadium, Mohali in Chandigarh on Thursday

India made one change from their winning combination in the first ODI at Guwahati as they preferred the swashbuckler Virender Sehwag on a batting  strip ahead of the in-form left-arm spinner Murli Kartik while Pakistan drafted in seamer Sohail Tanvir in place of spinner Abdur Rehman.

India is one up in the series with a comfortable five-wicket win in the first ODI at Guwahati.

The Squads: 

India: Mahendra Dhoni (capt, wk), Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly,Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Robin Uthappa, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Rudra Pratap Singh and Zaheer Khan.

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (captain), Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal (wk), Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Shahid Afridi, Misbah-ul Haq, Umar Gul, Rao Iftikhar, Sohail Tanvir and Shoaib Akhtar.
