Dhaka: The Bangladesh U-19 side will tour Pakistan after being given assurances about their security, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said on Monday.
"The team will now leave Dhaka for Karachi, Pak on Nov 16 as situation improved there," the BCB said in a statement.
Bangladesh postponed the tour last week over security concerns after Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf imposed emergency rule, suspended the country's constitution and detained hundreds of political opponents.
The team will play a four-day game in Karachi from Nov 20 to 23, followed by five limited-overs matches from Nov 26 to Dec 7 in Hyderabad and Karachi.
Tamim Iqbal, the Bangladesh opening batsman, will serve as the deputy to captain Sohrawardi Shuvo for the tour.
