New Delhi ,10 Jan, 2008 : As India's controversial Australian tour resumed, on the first day of an unusual 2 day match against An ACT Invitational XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra, Indian opener Wasim Jaffer made a 92 as his side reached 3-211 at tea.

Jaffer came in a welcome return to form, after failing badly in India's first two Tests against Australia. But batting for just less than 4 hours, Jaffer was out, caught at long -on from the bowling of Mark Higgs. The opener hit eight fours and two sixes.
