SRK's company Red Chilly has reportedly paid the mandatory bidding amount of US$5 million before filing the tender. Other big names in the fray include the Ambani brothers, Vijay Mallaya, DLF Group, India Cements among others.
The IPL bids open on Thursday and the base amount set for the process is whopping US$ 50 million dollars. The bids for some top city teams is expected to reach the dizzy heights of US$ 200 or more. The final announcement is expected on 24th Jan in Mumbai.
