Hyderabad: Skipper Jaya Prakash Yadav struck a run-a-ball 101 to help Delhi Jets canter to a 26-run win against Hyderabad heroes in their ICL 50s tie at Lahari Resorts Grounds here on Friday.

J P Yadav, former Railways all-rounder, earned man-of-the-match award for his 99-ball knock studded with 10 boundaries and 2 sixes.

JP and Abbas Ali (78) shared a brisk 146-run stand for the third wicket to help their side post a healthy 321/8 in 50 overs. In reply, Heroes despite Shashank Nag's brilliant solo effort 90-ball 104, were bowled out for 295.

Abhinav Bali and opener Mohnish Mishra set the tone for Jets with a 82-run partnership for the second wicket. J P Yadav and Abbas Ali then feasted on wayward Hyd bowlers.

Kaushik Reddy took 2 wickets and gave away 67 runs in 9 overs.

In reply, the Heroes were off to a flying start. Opener Shashank Nag scored a brilliant 104 runs of 90 balls, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. He along with left-hand batsman P S Niranjan had a 173 runs partnership for the first wicket, but the middle order collapsed like a pack of cards.
