JP and Abbas Ali (78) shared a brisk 146-run stand for the third wicket to help their side post a healthy 321/8 in 50 overs. In reply, Heroes despite Shashank Nag's brilliant solo effort 90-ball 104, were bowled out for 295.
Abhinav Bali and opener Mohnish Mishra set the tone for Jets with a 82-run partnership for the second wicket. J P Yadav and Abbas Ali then feasted on wayward Hyd bowlers.

In reply, the Heroes were off to a flying start. Opener Shashank Nag scored a brilliant 104 runs of 90 balls, which included 12 fours and 2 sixes. He along with left-hand batsman P S Niranjan had a 173 runs partnership for the first wicket, but the middle order collapsed like a pack of cards.
The only support came in was from Shahbuddin, who scored 46 runs.
Abhishek Tamarkar was the pick of the Jets' bowlers with 4/60 in 10 overs.
