Lahore: PCB's centrally contracted player Mohammad Sami, along with nine other Paki players, signed a pact with breakaway Indian league (ICL), claim the reports.

In a rebel of sorts with the authority, seamer Sami, placed in category-C in PCB contracts, joined the rebel league with discarded Pak spinner Saqlain Mushtaq, leggie Mushtaq among others.

The decision comes despite an ICC and PCB ban on the ICL.

According to new rules, players signing with the ICL may be banned from all domestic cricket by the PCB.

However official announcement from the ICL  in this regard is still expected, The Nation reported.

Other players said to have joined forces with the ICL include Hasan Raza, Naved Latif, Humayun Farhat, Riaz Afridi, fiery opener Imran Nazir and Arshad Khan who is currently working as a member of the national junior selection committee.
