India Colts seamer Pradeep Sangwan's five-for restricts SA to 149 all out in U-19 WC Group-B tieBangalore: India Colts left-arm seamer Pradeep Sangwan ripped apart the South African line to bowl out 'em to a paltry 149 in 30.1 overs in the ICC U-19 World Cup Group-B tie at the Kinrara Oval in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.

The 17-year-old paceman rattled SA batsmen with pace and swing for his 5 for 44 in 10 overs. He passed on his baton to left-arm spinners Ravinder Jadeja (3/23) and Iqbal Abdullah (2/16), who cleaned up the SA tail in jiffy.

SA, who had registered a clinical win against Windies yesterday, got off to a poor start as Sangwan sliced thro' the clueless top-order.

Sangwan, who had plucked 33 wickets at 19 apiece in his debut Ranji season (2007-08) for Delhi, sent the opener Malan packing in the second ball of the match and three overs later removed the dangerous Jon-Jon Smuts with a peach of an inswinger that beat Smuts all end to rearrange his timberwork.

The lanky seamer, who bowled a seve-over first spell, then accounted for Hendricks, Rossouw and Vallie to reduce SA to 45/5 in 13 overs.

Jonathan Vandiar (53) and Parnell repaired the early damage during a brisk 64-run stand for the sixth wicket. Vandier's 45-ball knock was studded with seven hits to fence and one over it while Parnell hit 31 off 25 with five boundaries. The duo feasted on Napolean Einstein's off-breaks. The TN bowler conceded 22 runs in two overs.

Jadeja provided his side a breakthro' in the 19th over dismissing Parnell with a length ball on just outside leg stump line that spun back to uproot leg stump. The Suarashtra spinner struck again, in the same eventful over that cost him 10 runs, to dismiss Pienaar with an yorker.

The next man in Roy Adams, who anchored SA home with Rossouw yesterday, was rapped on back foot with a arm ball on middle stick line from Jadeja for a plumb LBW decision to leave his side reeling on 109/7.

Left-arm orthodox spinner Iqbal Abdullah ended Vandiar's surge. Abdullah flighted one outside the leg stump drew Vandiar out of the crease for a easy stumping.

Brief Score:

South Africa Colts 149 all out in 30.1 overs (Jonathan Vandiar 53, Parnell 31; Sangwan 5 for 44, Ravinder Jadeja 3 for 23, Abdullah 2 for 16) Vs India Colts.
