Representatives from Cricket Australia and the Bangladesh Cricket Board met during International Cricket Council meetings in Kuala Lumpur and agreed to stage the Tests in July and August 2010 in northern Australia, CA said in a statement.
The series was originally set for August this year but was postponed because of a scheduling conflict with the August 8-24 Games, CA said.
"Through the cooperation of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, we have been able to reschedule the Test series between Australia and Bangladesh for the middle of 2010 when both teams have no other obligations under the Future Tours Program," CA's General Manager Michael Brown said.
"The decision to delay this year's scheduled Tests due to the Beijing Olympics was taken to ensure that the series received its due recognition from the media and cricketing public."
Australia will host Bangladesh in three one-day internationals in Darwin in northern Australia on August 31, September 3 and 6 this year.
