Sri Lanka elect to bat in opening West Indies cricket Test

PROVIDENCE:
Sri Lanka won the toss and chose to bat on the opening day of the opening Test against West Indies on Saturday at the Guyana National Stadium.

Left-arm spin bowler Sulieman Benn will make his debut for West Indies and become the 268th player to wear the Maroon Cap.

West Indies: Chris Gayle (captain), Devon Smith, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Marlon Samuels, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Ryan Hinds, Dwayne Bravo, Denesh Ramdin, Sulieman Benn, Jerome Taylor, Daren Powell.
