India gears up for 2nd test against South Africa

Ahmedabad, April 02, 2008 : The Indian cricket team took to the nets on April 1 in preparation for their second test against South Africa from April 3 in Ahmedabad. India will be without Sachin Tendulkar who is out with groin injury.

Captain Anil Kumble and pacer Ishant Sharma will undrergo fitness tests on April 2. Either Yuvraj Singh or Mohammad Kaif is expected to replace Tendulkar in the batting live-up. The visitors more than held their own against India in the Chennai Test
