Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik won the toss and opted to bat in the third day-night international against Bangladesh at the Gaddafi Stadium here on Sunday.
Pakistan, who lead the five-match series 2-0, made three changes from their line-up for the first two matches, which they won by 152 runs and seven wickets.
The home team was forced to bring in Bazid Khan in place of experienced batsman Younis Khan, who opted to miss the remaining matches.
They also rested opener Nasir Jamshed and paceman Umar Gul, opting to include all-rounder Fawad Alam and fast bowler Sohail Khan.
Bangladesh brought in paceman Shahadat Hossain for left-arm fast bowler Syed Rasel.
