''It's in ICC's interest to look after the players. So I feel its time for the ICC officials to sit down with the players and Boards of different nations and chalk out the future schedule of tournaments and try to solve the issue,'' Boucher told mediapersons here.
Boucher who is playing for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, however, disappointed with 10-runs defeat to the Delhi Daredevils and said his team has struggled to find the right combination.
''We are still looking for the right opening combination. There are a lot of good players who want to play and it is becoming very difficult to pick up the winning combination. We are still looking for a structure,'' he said.
Boucher also stated that the abscence of the explosive batsman Ross Taylor will affect the team composition and termed it as a big loss for the side. Ross Taylor would be leaving soon for the Australian series.
''It is a big loss for us to lose Ross at this crucial juncture of the tournament. He has been in good form. He has been providing momentum to the team but I guess we can't help that,'' he said.
However, boucher said there are some good quality players like Misbah-ul-Haq who are sitting on the bench and they are looking forward to play.
''we have players like Misbah-ul Haq ready to jump in his position and play an important role,'' he added.
