His reaction came after ICC the governing body of the sport asked the Bollywood super-star to stay away from KKR's players' dressing room and dugout on Sunday.
''I'm no crook. And I'm not doing any wrong by telling my boys to keep interest in cricket. I did not violate any code of conduct,'' Khan told in a newsconference here last night.
The ICC code of conduct allows only players and technical officials to visit the players in the ground and dressing rooms.
''Whenever I enter the players' room I take permission from the captain or coach John Buchanan and I will go again whenever my team plays at Eden Gardens,'' Shah Rukh Khan said before flying to Mumbai last night.
''I can not go everywhere the Knight Riders play. But whenever they play at Eden I will mix with them because I believe that cheering the boys would make them play good cricket,'' the movie moghul said.
KKR media manager Joy Bhattacharya said SRK did not come under ICC code of conduct rule since the Indian Premier League was domestic cricket.
Congratulating Kolkatans for their huge support to Eden cricket, the Bollywood megastar said, ''We have already earned twice the amount we invested, and the credit goes to people and even managers for their all out support to Knight Riders.''
