Bangladesh put Pakistan in to bat

DHAKA :
Bangladesh captain Mohammad Ashraful elected to field after winning the toss against Pakistan in the opening match of a triangular one-day series here on Sunday.

The match was reduced to 41-overs-a-side due to rain.

India are the third team.

Pakistan: Shoaib Malik (capt), Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal, Younus Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi, Fawad Alam, Sohail Tanvir, Umar Gul, Wahab Riaz.

Bangladesh: Mohammad Ashraful (capt), Tamim Iqbal, Shahriar Nafees, Raqibul Hasan, Alok Kapali, Mohammad Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mashrafe Mortaza, Dolar Mahmud, Abdur Razzak, Shahadat Hossain.

Umpires: Asoka de Silva (SRI) and Enamul Haque (BAN)

TV umpire: A.F.M. Akhtaruddin (BAN)

Match referee: Jeff Crowe (NZL)
