Mirput: Raqibul Hasan (89) played a valiant innings to save Bangladesh from a batting collapse and led his team to a decent score of 222 in their Kitply Cup match against India at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka today.

Skipper Mohammed Ashraful (36) too played an important knock as Alok Kapali and Mahmudullah chipped in with 20 and 24 runs respectively.

For India, RP Singh was the wrecker-in-chief with three wickets. Irfan Pathan scalped two as Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla and Yusuf Pathan bagged one wicket apiece.
