Dhaka: Pakistan skipper Shoaib Malik won the toss and elected to bat in the tri-series final against India at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur here on Saturday.

India, the firm favourites with a clean slate in the event, made one change bringing in Ishant in place of RP. Pakistan have included the left-arm spinner Fawad Alam in place of seamer Wahab Riaz.

The rival captains and the ICC have agreed to change the ball at the end of the 30th over because it has been turning black, and makes that much harder to sight the ball in the last 10-15 overs, owing to the nature of soil used for pitch.

India: Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt, wk), Robin Uthappa, Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Praveen Kumar and Ishant Sharma.

Pakistan: Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal (wk), Younis Khan, Mohammad Yousuf, Misbah-ul-Haq, Shoaib Malik (capt), Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanvir, Fawad Alam, Wahab Riaz and Umar Gul.

Match Officials: Umpires: Asoka de Silva (SL) and Nadir Shah (Bangla). Third Umpire: Akhtaruddin. Match Ref: Jeff Crowe.
