Srinath named match referee for Scotland tri-series

Dubai: Former India paceman Javagal Srinath has been appointed match referee for the ODI tri-series between New Zealand, Ireland and hosts Scotland at Aberdeen from July 1 to 3.

Steve Davis and Paul Baldwin will be the on-field umpires during the series.

Meanwhile, Chris Broad will oversee the three-match one-day series between the hosts Canada and Bermuda starting from June 28 to July 1.

The on-field umpires for those matches will be Gary Baxter and Roger Dill.

Baxter and Dill will later officiate the three four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup matches between Canada and Bermuda.

Dill will then head to Bermuda for Inter-continental Cup tie match with Scotland at the National Stadium in Hamilton where he will be joined by Shahul Hameed.

Meanwhile, Baxter will remain in Ontario for the game between Canada and Scotland from 16 to 19 July, again at King City. Shahul will be the other on-field umpire to stand in the match.
