Dhoni, Yuvraj gear up for ODI series

Bangalore: Indian ODI captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, vice captain Yuvraj Singh and four other cricketers underwent a fitness and training schedule in Bangalore on July 11, in the two-day camp ahead of the five-match one-day series in Sri Lanka.

Irfan Pathan, Suresh Raina, Virat Kohli and Praveen Kumar joined them in the exercise. Pragyan Ojha expected to join the group this morning, did not do so, camp sources said.

Praveen Kumar nursed his palms with an ice-pack but sources at the academy said that there was no room for concern and that it was a routine niggle. The players wound up their day with a stint at the gym.

Tamil Nadu"s S. Badrinath will join the camp on Thursday. Badrinath has been drafted into the 16-member squad as a replacement for an injured Sachin Tendulkar

All of them are scheduled to leave for the island Lankaon Wednesday.

The five-match series between India and Sri Lanka will be played from August 18-29. India lost the three test series by the margin 2-1.
