Sri Lanka elect to bat in India one-dayer

Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene elected to bat after winning the toss against India in the fifth and final one-day international here on Friday.

India have already gained a winning 3-1 lead in the series.

Sri Lanka made three changes from the side that lost the last match by 46 runs here, bringing in Jehan Mubarak, Mahela Udawatte and Dilhara Fernando in place of Muttiah Muralitharan, Chaminda Vaas and Tillakaratne Dilshan.

India also made three changes, replacing Harbhajan Singh, Subramaniam Badrinath and Praveen Kumar with Pragyan Ojha, Irfan Pathan and Rudra Pratap Singh.

Sri Lanka: Mahela Jayawardene (capt), Kumar Sangakkara, Sanath Jayasuriya, Malinda Warnapura, Mahela Udawatte, Chamara Kapugedara, Jehan Mubarak, Ajantha Mendis, Thilan Thushara, Nuwan Kulasekara, Dilhara Fernando.

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt), Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel, Pragyan Ojha, Rudra Pratap Singh.
