In an informal chat with mediapersons here Raina accepted that the he alongwith other Indian batsmen could not read the bowling of the Sri Lankan new bowling sensation Mendis in the beginning of the series, but in the later stages of the tour Virender Sehwag and skipper Dhoni assisted him in facing the unorthodox spinner's carom deliveries hitting him all round the ground.
He said Sehwag and Dhoni are the only players who could break the magic of any bowler of the world adding after failing in the first two matches in the recently concluded series he was abily assisted by the swashbuckling opener and captain himself in scoring two half centuries.
However, Raina also asserted that facing Sri Lanka in their home grounds was still the most difficult task.
He also stated that he was eying the forthcoming home series against Australia in October this year for which he would try to utilise the maximum number of domesitic matches.
On being asked to comment on the captaincy of Anil Kumble and Dhoni, Raina skipped the question saying 'no comment'.
Raina was here on the invitation of Manish Mandir, an NGO which is working for the upliftment and education of orphan girls.
Besides planting saplings on the premises he also donated Rs One lakh to the organisation and gifts to inmates.
