New Delhi: Former Indian captain and ICL chairman Kapil Dev slammed BCCI for victimising its players and not paying their duties.  He also lashed out at IPL commissioner Lalit Modi for ill-treating players asccociatd with the ICL. According to reports, the BCCI have withheld huge sums of money which are due to players who appeared in BCCI-recognised domestic competitions, but later joined the rebel-league.

Agencies quoted Kapil as saying, "Stopping their money is not right. I leave it to the discretion of the board. They should have been big hearted. The cricketers deserve their dues."

Kapil charged Lalit Modi for having a vindictive attitude towards ICL players."They are trying to be vindictive towards us. Only one section of the board is trying to do that. Moreover it is just one person who is being vindictive towards us," said Kapil.
