Aussies are bigger rivals than Pakistan: Sachin

SachinNew Delhi: India's best batsman Sachin Tendulkar has predicted tough series against Australia by stating that Indo-Aussie rivalary is bigger than Indo-Pak rivlary.

Master blaster, who is at handshaking distance of overtaking West Indian great Brian Lara as Test cricket's highest run-getter, pointed out that India have been the only team in the world to have run world champions Australia close of late in the latter's backyard.

Tendulkar also said that the Indian team will play in the 'right spirit' in thcoming series scheduled to begin in the end of the month.

"We want to be competitive but play in the right spirit of the game and I expect same from the Aussies," he added.

Sachin has also put onus on the crowd as far as victory of the Indian team is concerned by saying that crowd will play an important role in the series.

"We are the only team in the world who have beaten Australia on their home soil in the last ten years, to," Tendulkar acclaimed.

The Bombay bomber also said that playing well in front of capacity crowd gives us more satisfaction than making records.

When asked about his retirement plans by shooting back, "I think you are at the wrong press conference."
