CAMumbai: Aussies team led by Ricky Ponting arrived on Monday for a four-match Test series commencing at Bangalore on October 9.

The squad did not come out of the international terminal and were scheduled to take a connecting flight from the domestic terminal to Jaipur, according to BCCI sources.

The team is scheduled to play a few practice games in Jaipur before reaching Hyderababd on September 29 to commence official part of the tour, they added.

The stay at Jaipur and practice matches against Rajasthan Cricket Academy has been arranged by the Rajasthan Cricket Association and not the BCCI.

Cricket Australia (CA) had earlier decided to go ahead with its tour to India irrespective of their security concerns following serial blasts in Delhi on Saturday.
