Cricket AustraliaMelbourne: The top-class facilities provided to the Australian team in Jaipur might not have pleased the BCCI but Cricket Australia today thanked the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) for their hospitality and said it helped the visitors well to acclimatise in the Indian conditions.

Cricket Australia's (CA) acting CEO Michael Brown, while praising the high standard of facilities offered to Australian team by the RCA, said, ''It is important for any touring cricket team to acclimatise to the conditions before a big series and we're grateful to the Rajasthan Cricket Association for the hospitality they've extended to Australia and the high quality of the facilities on offer at RCA's Academy in Jaipur.'' Brown further assured that CA will also return the favour when the Indian team tours Down Under for the VB series next time.

''We look forward to extending the same courtesies to India when they next tour Australia as part of the successful and ongoing bilateral relationship between Cricket Australia and the BCCI,'' he stated.

In recent years, CA's Centre of Excellence in Brisbane has operated a reciprocal program with the BCCI and hosted a variety of Border-Gavaskar scholars from India including RP Singh, VRV Singh, Virat Kohli, Ravi Teja and Suresh Raina.
