Australia's warm up match ends in a draw

Jaipur:  Australia and Rajasthan XI's two-day tie ended in a draw as the visitors shot out the home team for only 122 and then prefered for their own practice at the SMS stadium here today.

Resuming at their overnight total of 38 for two, Rajasthan XI were shortly dismissed for 122 in only 52.2 overs. Gagan Khoda and Robin Bist were the only batsmen, who were able to face the Australian attack. Khoda made 33 off 63 balls with five fours before giving a catch to Brad Haddin off Siddle.

Robin batted cautiously and made 34 off 92 balls with four fours before D Bollinger got him caught by Brad Haddin. Bollinger was the most successful bowler for Australia, who finished with the figures of 9.2-4-9-3. Mitchell Johnson captured four for 21 while Jason Kraza took three for 35.

Skipper Ricky Ponting thereafter decided not to bat second and preferred their own practice session.

The Australian team is scheduled to depart for Hyderabad tomorrow morning.
