Amit Mishra makes dream debut

Amit MisraMohali: Amit Mishra became the sixth Indian bowler, and the third Indian legspinner, to pick up five wickets on debut, when he picked up the wicket of Peter Siddle, to wrap up the Australian innings.

The Haryana bowler was a late inclusion in the team after captain Anil Kumble was ruled out of the match with a shoulder injury.

The 25-year-old leggie is the sixth Indian bowler overall and the third leg-spinner after Narendra Hirwani and VV Kumar to claim five wickets in his debut Test match.
