Laxman's 50 came off 93 balls, and included seven hits to the fence - in comparison, in the first innings, Laxman's first 50 runs had only three boundaries.
Sourav Ganguly was giving Laxman company when the players left the field for tea; India's second innings score read 193 for 5, and they had an overall lead of 229 runs.
Delhi: India declared their second inings at 208/5 on the final day of the third Test against Australia. Laxman was unbeaten on 59, while Sourav Ganguly was not out on 32. India have an overall lead of 244, and Australia will be left to face a minimum of 20 overs in the day's play.
