In reply to Chandigarh Lions' total of 136 for six, Lahore Badshahs achieved the target in 16 overs by making 137 for three with Rana Naved Ul-Hasan remaining not out on 50 last night. His strokeful innings contained six boundaries and one six. He was declared man of the match.
Naved was associated in a 62-run partnership for the third wicket with Shahid Yousuf (28, 3x4s). They carried the total to 107 for 3 from 45 for two before Shahid was dismissed.
With Khalis Mahmood (15 not out), Naved realised unbeaten 30 for the fourth wicket stand.
Imran Nazir (18) and Imran Farahat (22) gave Lahore Badshahs a good start by putting 33 runs for the opening wicket stand.
Ishant Malhotra was the most successful bowler for Chandigarh Lions as he bagged 2 for 38. Love Ablish got one wicket for 22 runs.

Earlier, Chandigarh Lions won the toss and elected to bat. The left and right hand combintion of dashing south-paw Tejinder Paul Singh and Sarabjit Singh gave their team a good start by putting on 40 runs for the first wicket stand. TP Singh's innings of 28 off same number of balls, was cut short by Rana Naved trapping him leg before wicket in the seventh over.
Tight bowling from Rana Naved and the consistent Shahid Nazir pulled back the Chandigarh batting, placed at 66 for two and Chandigarh Lions star induction Graeme Hick, holding guard in the middle. Nazir displayed a brilliant spell of pace bowling, ending his four-over quota with impressive figures one for 12. Hick (14) was dismissed by wily Saqlian Mushtaq in the 13th over. Saqlain struck again in the 15th over dismissing talented Manish Sharma to leave the Chandigarh Lions in a bit of a bother at 85 for four. With five overs to go Chandigarh Lions needed a major onslaught to register a decent total; placed at 90 for 4.
New Zealander Lou Vincent who had had a dry run in the tournament so far was looking determined in the middle tackling some high-class bowling in company of Chetan Sharma. The duo put on 43 runs for the fifth wicket before Sharma was run out for 13 in the final over.
