ICLAhmedabad: The Indian Cricket League (ICL) today announced the reschedule of its final leg including its best of three finals of the ongoing ICL 20s Indian Championship to Sardar Patel Stadium, Ahmedabad. The major reason for the reschedule has been the overwhelming response generated by ICL"s season-2 and the increased infrastructure requirements, in terms of sitting capacity anticipated for the final leg.

Speaking on the development, Kiran More, ICL Executive Board Member&Tournament Director said, “I take this opportunity to inform the expansive cricket fraternity following the ICL that in meeting the requirements of the demand of an expected 50,000 live audience for the final leg matches, including the best of three finals; we at the ICL have taken the decision to shift our final leg of the ongoing tournament to Sardar Patel Stadium Ahmedabad. Our Ahmedabad facility is most appropriate to meet this swelling response to our tournament&I assure the general public that we will meet all mandatory prerequisites to make our final leg a memorable cricket experience."
