Pietersen 'sure' England will bounce back
PietersenNew Delhi:  Despite being down 2-0 in the ongoing seven-match ODI series, England skipper Kevin Pietersen is still confident that his team will bounce back and asserted that his team will try to win the series.

''I just think we can be competitive and keep improving to get closer and win a couple of games,'' he said.

''We want to try to win this series because that's what we're here to do,'' Pietersen told the England and Wales Cricket Board website www.ecb.co.uk.

The 28-year-old right handed batsman also hinted that England might make some changes in the bowling line-up by including Graeme Swann and Ryan Sidebottom.

Swann will may share the spin bowling with Samit Patel while Sidebottom will provide the much needed attacking option in the pace bowling department.

''There's food for thought there definitely, but we'll just wait and see,'' Pietersen said.

Sidebottom, who has been suffering with prolonged Achilles problems, has last played a one-day international in the final match of the series against New Zealand in June.
