Body guard misfires at Sachin's house
Mumbai: According to a report appearing in DNA, a Mumbai cop deployed as bodyguard at Sachin Tendulkar's residence, accidentally misfired his pistol, and hurt himself.

Chandrasen Chigvan,39,  a constable from the special protection unit of the Mumbai police, came for the morning shift on Saturday at around 8 am. “He was taking charge from the night security personnel who handed over the 9mm pistol to Chigvan when he accidentally misfired," said senior police inspector Prakash George, Bandra police station. The bullet hit Chigvan"s left palm.

A newspaper vendor Kailash Parab who was on his job nearby said, “We heard the sound and thought there was some problem. So we just ran away from the building."

There were a few other passers-by who also panicked, he added. The other security personnel immediately informed Tendulkar about the incident and he rushed to the building"s compound with his wife Anjali.
