Dickason is already in the country and had reviewed the arrangements for the first Test to be staged in the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from December 11. The England team had returned home after the recent terrorists attack in Mumbai.
The ECB will formally announce the return of the England team for the two-Test series after receiving reports from Dickason.
Punjab Cricket Association secretary MP Pandove today informed mediapersons that Dickason will have a round of the PCA stadium, players' dressing room, emergency exit gate etc.
The ECB security adviser will also visit Taj Hotel in sector 17 here where the teams would be staying.
The ECB security adviser would also hold discussion with the concerned Punjab Government authorities including Mohali Deputy Commissioner Bhandari Rahul Bhandari and Mohali SSP Jatinder Singh Aulakh.
Pandove said the PCA had written a communication to the Punjab Government about the visit of Dickason and the ECB's security concern.
The private security, which will be hired by the PCA would only guide the ticket holders and prevent unauthorised entry into the different blocks. The Punjab police will provide the security.
Keeping in view the November 26 Mumbai carnage, the Punjab police will make elaborate security arrangements to prevent any incident.
Commandos will be deployed with the players and the rapid action force will also be present.
