Chennai: India's explosive batsman Yuvraj Singh has made a comeback to the Test squad after his blistering performance in the recently concluded ODI series against England. He would like to cement his place in the side which has a slot vacant after Sourav Ganguly's retirement. The Punjab dasher could have been the automatic choice but his inconsistency in the longer version of the game has been his bane.

BCCI's selection committee headed by Kris Srikkanth has announced the 15-member squad, giving Pragyan Ojha also chance to prove
his mettle, for the two-match Test series against England.

Gautam Gambhir, who was handed a one-Test match ban after he elbowed Shane Watson during the Delhi Test, return to the squad for the series, scheduled to start in Chennai on December 11.
