BCCIBengaluru: BCCI has  booked the complete hotel where the two teams - India and England - will be staying during the first Test in Chennai, due to security reasons.

Security has been stepped up for the Test series, given England have expressed concerns over the security situation in India in the light of the recent terror attacks in Mumbai.

According to reports, the BCCI has booked the complete hotel in Chennai, which has over 200 rooms, where only the two teams, ICC officials and board officials will be staying until December 16.

According to the arrangement between the BCCI and the hotel, only those recommended by the board will be able to stay in the hotel.

The security guidelines have been forced upon them by the England and Wales Cricket Board's security adviser Reg Dickason who visited the hotel a few days ago to make his observation.
