Islamabad, Dec 19: Imran Khan, former Pakistan skipper on Thursday, Dec 18 said that the decision to call off India's tour to Pakistan was not a right one. In an interview to NDTV news channel, he said, "I think it is a wrong decision to call off the tour. India should have toured Pakistan for the same reason England toured India."
Imran said the cancellation of the tour will only aggrevate the situation and cause antagonism. If the cricket tour happened it would have improved the relations between India and Pakistan. "Responsibility of providing security lies with the host country and the last thing extremist elements would want is to target cricketers," he added.
He also said that terrorism was an illness and needed to be eradicated and a higher maturity level is needed for this. "People will use the cancellation to create an anti-India sentiment", Imran said.
