Bangalore: Bangalore Royal Challengers will be the favourite team of South African cricket fans in the IPL as they have five South African players in their squad. Moreover Royal Challengers is lead by Kevin Pietersen, who is South African born.
Jacques Kallis, Mark Boucher, Dale Steyn, Dillon Du Preez and Roelof van der Merwe are the South Africans in Royal Challengers squad.
The IPL teams are allowed to play up to four foreign players in the starting XI.
The Challengers were led by Rahul Dravid last year and included Nathan Bracken, who was recently ousted from the top of the world ODI bowler rankings by Sri Lanka"s Nuwan Kulasekara.
