Chennai elect to bat against Bangalore

Port Elizabeth: Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat in the match against Bangalore Royal Challengers in the 5th match of IPL at St George's Park.

Chennai Superkings have left out Oram, Thushara and Ashwin to bring in Balaji, Muralitharan and Albie Morkel. The big change for Bangalore Challengers is that Kallis comes into the eleven.

Bangalore Royal Challengers are in a upbeat mood after their sensational win against Rajasthan Royals in the opening game, while Chennai Super Kings, having lost the opening match, will be hoping to register their maiden points on the table.

There's a vast difference between records of both the teams. Bangalore finished 7th out of eight teams last year while Chennai were the runners-up and this year, they are one of the favourites for the title.
