Kolkata chase 159 for victory

Durban: Sent in to bat first, Kings XI Punjab scored 158/6 against Kolkata Knight Riders in the sixth match of Indian Premier League at Kingsmead, Durban.

Kings XI captain Yuvraj top scored the innings with 38 runs. Irfan Pathan(32) who was promoted up the batting order did manage to get some momentum going with some lusty hits over the fence until Ganguly managed to lure him into a false shot. Former Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene hit a six and 3 fours in his 31-run knock that came off 19 balls.

Former captain Sourav Ganguly took the bowling honours for Kolkata Knight Riders with figures of 2/24.

Earlier Knight Riders captain Brendon McCullum won the toss and elected to bowl at Durban.
