Durban: Deccan Chargers continued their winning streak in IPL's second season as they beat Mumbai Indians by 12 runs at Durban on Saturday.
Ohja was the man who shattered Mumbai Indian's dreams as he dismissed 3 major batsmen in the Mumbai Indian batting lineup. Edwards and RP Singh grabbed two wickets for Deccan Chargers.
Mumbai seemed to be cruising along smoothly till the strategy break before losing Tendulkar, Dhawan and Duminy in quick time.
Sachin Tendulkar who lead the Mumbai Indians fight back was the first victim of Pragyan Ohja.
Sachin scored 36 runs in 27 balls that included three fours and two sixes. JP Duminy who played another brilliant knock scored 47 of just 40 balls.
Mumbai had high hopes from Abhishek Nayar but he too couldn't last long to bail out his team. Dwayne Bravo played a fine little knock towards the end but didn't succeed. Bravo was trapped in front from a good yorker by Edwards.
Earlier Deccan Chargers opener Gibbs scored a brilliant fifty helped Deccam Chargers to score 168/9 in 20 overs. Gibbs scored his maiden IPL fifty in just 38 balls that included five fours and two sixes.
Pragyan Ohja was declared man of the match.
