Port Elizabeth: A spectacular half century by Tilakaratne Dilshan (67) guided Delhi Daredevils to six victory over Bangalore Royal Challengers at Port Elizabeth on Sunday. It was the third consecutive victory for Delhi Daredevils and fourth consecutive loss for Bangalore Royal Challengers.
Delhi were off to a shaky start after their explosive captain Sehwag was dismissed by Pankaj Singh. Gambhir (16) also followed his captain as he was dismissed by Pankaj Singh.
It was the partnership between AB De Villiers and Tilakaratne which brought the Delhi daredevils back into the game.

Tilakartne Dilshan who lead Delhi's run chase scored an unbeaten 67 which was studded with 2 sixes and 5 fours. De Villiers who gave a good support to Tilakaratne was dismissed for 21 runs.
Dilshan was adjudicated as the man of the match for his brilliant fifty.
Earlier Delhi bowlers restricted Bangalore Royal Challengers to 149/7 in twenty overs at Port Elizabeth.
Challengers Kevin Pietersen (37)played a good innings and it was his innings that gave some flesh to Challengers score. Taylor also gave good support to his captain by scoring 31 runs. Pietersen hit 2 sixes and 2 fours in his 37-run knock that came off 25 balls and added 62 runs for with Ross Taylor the third wicket before going for a switch-hit off Daniel Vettori and was clean bowled.
Bangalore Royal Challengers missed Rahul Dravid as he has returned to India for the birth of his second child.
