Port Elizabeth: Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar who was adjudged Man of the Match in game against Kolkata was all praises of Sanath Jayasuriya for his magnificent innings.
Tendulkar and Jayasuriya hammered 127 for the first wicket from just 12.2 overs as Mumbai scored 187-6 in 20 overs after electing to bat against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Veteran SanathJayasuriya, who turns 40 in June, hammered 52 off 32 balls with two fours and four sixes as the veterans turned the clock back in a breathtaking display of attacking batting.
Sachin , who made 68 off 45 balls, was modest in assessing his side's performance and sung the praises of Sri Lankan stalwart Jayasuriya after his 52 from 32 deliveries.
"It was wonderful, initially I got going and then Sanath picked up. All in all it was a good opening partnership."
