Durban: Brilliant half centuries from Naman Ojha (68) and Graeme Smith (77) helped Rajasthan Royals to post a record total of 211/4 in 20 overs against Kings Punjab at Durban on Tuesday.
Smith and Ojha took the side off to a rollicking start and had an opening partnership of 135 runs in 15 overs. Smith's 77-run knock came off 44 balls and was studded with a six and 12 fours. Naman Ojha hit 5 fours and 5 sixes in his 51-ball 68.
But soon after Smith's fall, wickets started tumbling and the reachable 200 started looking distant at that point in time. Jadeja kept the hopes alive and his cameo has enabled his side post the highest total of this season. Jadeja took 33 runs off 12 balls which consisted of five fours and a sixer.
Former Indian pacer Sreesanth is back in Punjab side replacing Vikramjeet Malik. For Rajathan Royals, Swapnil Asnodkar and Munaf Patel have been left out. Neeraj Patel and Amanpreet Singh make their way in.
