Pretoria: The South Africa selectors have included paceman Yusuf Abdulla in World Twenty20 cup squad after his outstanding performance in the ongoing IPL tournament at South Africa.
The 26-year-old is currently the tournament's leading wicket-taker with 14 wickets in seven matches.
Abdulla joins a strong South Africa squad who will go in search of their first major trophy when the tournament begins in England on June 5.
South Africa has also included Johan Botha in their squad, despite the off-spinner facing an International Cricket Council investigation into his bowling action.
South Africa vice-captain was reported for illegal action during the fourth one-day international aganist Australia last month,
"Our cricket is entering an exciting period," said Cricket South Africa (CSA) convenor of selectors Mike Procter after announcing the squad.
